Cooktop Extractor · Raubling · 2007
Hobs with integrated extractor Bora.
The end of the extractor hood. The beginning of freedom.
In 2007, BORA changed the rules of the kitchen forever: instead of chasing steam up to the ceiling, it extracts it right where it's created — at the surface. Induction hobs, the X BO oven, BORA Cool refrigeration: a complete ecosystem, designed and built in Germany, where the air stays clean and the view stays clear.

extraction downward.
Extraction at the source
Steam and odours are densest right above the pan. BORA extracts them horizontally, the moment they're created — before they can rise, spread, or leave their scent in the room.
Silent motor
The motor is positioned away from the cooking surface. The result is an airflow that's powerful, yet discreet in its presence.
Odour filtering & eSwap
The eSwap system turns a filter change into a matter of seconds — no tools needed, returning clean air to the room.
Dishwasher-safe
The internal components lift out and go straight into the dishwasher. Cleaning becomes part of the everyday routine.
BORA
Professional 3.0
BORA's top hob-extraction system: extra-deep 540 mm hobs, professional stainless-steel controls, and power that makes the ceiling extractor hood a thing of the past.
Analogue-digital controls: knobs in a black glass finish with white LED indicators — a statement for demanding kitchens.
Steam doesn't have time to
to rise.
Cooking steam rises at up to 1 metre per second. BORA pulls it downward at around 4 — a cross-flow that captures steam and odours at the source, before they can spread through the room.
Extra-deep 540 mm hobs — large pans in a row
Central control: child lock & pause in one move
All components are dishwasher-safe
Combines freely with one, two or more hobs

The largest freely combinable cooking space

Odours are captured at the source — not in your clothes or the room.No ceiling extractor hood
Island in front of a window, under a sloped ceiling — anywhere.
Without an extractor hood,
the space becomes truly yours.
For decades, the extractor hood dictated where the kitchen could stand. BORA removes that constraint. This is where BORA meets MobilCasa's philosophy. We design a space with you that breathes freely, weaving the technology into an architectural proposal.
Why BORA
The air stays clean.
The view stays clear.
Clean air
Extraction at the source, before the steam rises.
Unobstructed view
Nothing above the island.
Absolute quiet
Powerful airflow, discreet sound.
Fresh air. Unobstructed view.
BORA's official demo: water vapour and odours are extracted downward, right where they're created — with no extractor hood over your head.
For the love
of the clean air.
In 2007, Willi Bruckbauer — a carpenter and kitchen builder from Raubling, Bavaria — turned a given on its head: why chase steam up to the ceiling, when we can capture it right where it's created? That's how the cooktop extractor was invented — and with it, BORA was born.
Today, BORA develops in Germany and manufactures in Germany and Austria a complete ecosystem — hobs, steam oven, refrigeration and lighting — with the same obsession: cooking as if in the open air, with an unobstructed view and complete design freedom.

Everything you need
to to know.
Where do the air and steam go?
You have two options. In recirculation mode, the air passes through activated-carbon filters and returns clean to the room. In extraction mode, it's vented outside.
Can it handle tall pots?
Yes. Steam is captured right where it's produced, regardless of the pot's height, since extraction happens at surface level.
Does it need a flue or external venting?
Not necessarily. Thanks to the filtered recirculation mode, it works perfectly even in spaces with no option for external ducting.
How easy is day-to-day maintenance?
Very. The intake channel and internal components go straight into the dishwasher, and the filter change requires no tools.
