How It Works

The technology
beneath the surface.

The Invisacook unit fixes beneath the worktop with a rail or clip system. Just 5cm thick — it takes up no drawer space. The electromagnetic coil penetrates up to 20mm of porcelain or sintered stone, heating only the cookware.

Electromagnetic Field Through the Surface

The proprietary Invisa-Induction Technology generates an electromagnetic field that penetrates up to 20mm of porcelain or sintered stone, transferring energy directly to the compatible cookware. The worktop stays cool.

Control: Drawer, Backsplash or Wi-Fi App

The controller installs in a drawer, on the backsplash or the worktop edge. Full remote control is also available via the Invisacook / Tuya Smart App.

Safety & Cleaning

The surface stays cool when you're not cooking. Automatic shut-off, child safety lock and overheat protection are all built in. No burners, joints or grates — one wipe is enough.

InvisaMat® — Included with Every Unit

The silicone InvisaMat (33×25cm) sits on the worktop between the cookware and the surface. It protects against scratches, absorbs thermal stress, reduces noise and helps the worktop stay cooler. Use is always required on porcelain and sintered stone. One InvisaMat per zone is included.

Compatible Surfaces

The right
surface matters.

Invisacook requires porcelain or sintered stone 12–20mm thick. At MobilCasa we design the complete system — invisible hob + compatible surface — in a single appointment.

First Choice — Sintered Stone 12–20mm
Ascale

Sintered stone is the ideal substrate — thermally stable, impermeable and fully compatible. MobilCasa carries Ascale in Athens.

Second Choice — Porcelain 12–20mm
Caesarstone Porcelain

Porcelain of the right thickness performs excellently. MobilCasa also carries Caesarstone Porcelain.

By Arrangement — Natural Stone
Granite (milled 15mm) Quartzite (durable)

A case-by-case assessment is required due to possible uneven heat distribution.

Not compatible: quartz, marble, granite (unfinished), laminate, wood, glass. These materials may discolour, crack or warp.

Why Invisacook

Our benefits
of the invisible hob.

Speed

Induction heats the cookware directly. Boil water in under 2 minutes. Searing, boiling, simmering — at full power.

3× vs gas

Energy Efficiency

83–90% energy efficiency versus 31–40% for gas. No energy is lost to the air or the worktop — only the cookware heats up.

Surface Safety

The worktop stays cool when the unit is off. Automatic shut-off and child safety lock are built in. No open flame or gas.

Easy to Clean

No burners, grates or joints. A single, unified worktop surface. Remove the cookware and wipe clean in seconds.

Precision Control

Instant, responsive temperature control across the full range — 36°C to 204°C. Power distribution across zones for consistent performance.

36°C – 204°C

Design Freedom

The worktop becomes the cooking surface. The island doubles as a table. No appliance breaks the line — the kitchen belongs entirely to your design.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need
to know.

Which cookware is compatible?

Any induction-ready cookware works — if a magnet sticks firmly to the base, it's compatible. Recommended: full-clad stainless steel (Tri-Ply or 5-Ply). Not compatible: aluminium, copper, glass without a magnetic base layer. Cast iron is compatible but not recommended — it builds up extreme heat.

Can I install it myself?

No. Invisacook requires professional installation by a licensed electrician and worktop fabricator. It is not a plug-and-play appliance. MobilCasa coordinates the entire installation process on your behalf.

What are the electrical requirements?

Electrical requirements depend on the model and zone configuration. Installation follows Invisacook's European specifications and the requirements of the specific installation.

Does the worktop get hot while cooking?

Yes — the surface gradually warms during prolonged cooking. When the unit is off, it stays cool. The included InvisaMat helps manage the temperature.

Can I control it remotely?

Yes. All units are compatible with the Invisacook app and the Tuya Smart App, allowing full remote control via Wi-Fi. The physical controller can be placed in a drawer, on the backsplash or on the worktop edge.

Does InvisaCharge work with all phones?

InvisaCharge uses Qi technology — the industry standard for most modern smartphones. It works through surfaces up to 5cm thick, with no pad or base. Simply place the device on the worktop.
