Gala's wood door is a frame of solid oak uprights and cross-pieces, 64 × 20 mm in section, with a shaped upper crossbeam and a central ashlar panel of 13 mm MDF veneered in oak.

Handles

Valle (160 mm pitch), Allegra, Doria and Arles (128 mm pitch) in die-cast aluminium alloy, antiqued or glossy — Allegra also with crystal inserts — with matching knobs in all finishes

Painting process

An initial brushing to open the pore, base coat and colour, an antique-effect patina applied and cleaned back, and a final clear acrylic top coat
