Modula's doors hang on a «Soft» hinge with a gradual braking effect, tested at 80,000 openings, galvanically protected and adjustable in all three dimensions.

Carcase

A melamine particleboard panel 1.8 cm thick, low formaldehyde (CARB P2); ABS edging 0.5 mm front and 0.3 mm back; side panels have non-pass-through connection holes

Back panel

HDF coated on both sides, 3 mm thick, low formaldehyde (CARB P2)

Plinth

Anodised aluminium, painted aluminium or PVC coated with Flex finishing papers or painted, H 15/12/10 (Std), H 12/10/8 (Over)

Hinge

A «Soft» hinge with gradual braking, tested at 80,000 openings, galvanically protected, with the closing spring built in and adjustment in 3 dimensions; drainer wall units open to 155°, corner wall units to 165°

Ceramic worktop

A ceramic top 1.2 or 2 cm thick, made from exclusively natural raw materials, sintered at over 1200 °C

Five door types

Square with a linear edge, Profilo C with a «C» pull profile, Profilo with an aluminium profile on one side, Sagoma J with the J-PULL integrated grip, and Telaio, a framed door. Square and Profilo C in Std and Over modularity; Profilo, Sagoma J and Telaio in Std only. All five also take an aluminium-framed glass unit with 4 mm tempered glass: «Standard» of 2.2 × 4.5 cm section in anodised satin, black or champagne, opening by integrated handle, handleless or push-pull; «Tecno» of 2.2 × 5.5 cm section in anodised black, with the grip integrated into the profile on all sides and smoked clear glass

Square, Profilo C and Profilo doors

Melamine or PET 1.8 cm thick and lacquer or mono-lacquer 1.9 cm thick, ABS edged on four sides; Square also takes «Malta» laminate 2 cm with a laser edge, and a matt lacquer surface-treated by short-wave UV polymerisation (excimer) for a highly opaque, soft-touch, anti-fingerprint finish. Profilo C and Profilo carry an applied aluminium profile on one side, in painted white or black and anodised aluminium or champagne

Sagoma J door

2.2 cm thick in melamine, matt lacquer, matt lacquer with a melamine back — Bianco neve only — or glossy mono-lacquer, always with the J-PULL integrated grip, and in a J-PULL STOPPED version on the lacquered fronts

Telaio door

Frame and centre panel in MDF faced with Microlam in the wood finishes and PPL Supermatt in the solid colours; perimeter profiles of 5 × 2.2 cm section and a smooth 7 mm centre panel, with an integrated grip on one horizontal profile; fronts under 17.7 × 14.7 cm are made plain, 2.2 cm thick

Melamine in 16 and 18 shades, matt lacquer or glossy mono-lacquer in 33; Square only, «touch» lacquer in 9, PET in 15 and «Malta» laminate in 3; on Telaio, Microlam in Rovere europeo oak and PPL Supermatt in 4 shades
