InvisaCharge: wireless charging under the worktop
In short: the InvisaCharge is a Qi wireless charger from Invisacook that is fitted under the worktop. There is no charger or cable on the surface: you rest your phone on the spot and it charges, up to 15 W, through a worktop up to 2 cm thick, and up to 5 cm with the booster sticker. We choose the spot together with you in the design study for your kitchen.
In most kitchens the phone ends up somewhere between a charger, a cable and a socket that is never where you need it. InvisaCharge follows the logic of Invisacook: it hides the function under the worktop.
What is InvisaCharge
It is the wireless charger from Invisacook, the American company from Bunnell, Florida. It is based on the Qi standard, the same one used by today's phone chargers, but the unit does not sit on top of the worktop. It is fixed from underneath, and there is nothing on the surface of the worktop. See also the official InvisaCharge page on the Invisacook site.
The manufacturer notes that many Qi chargers only work through materials thinner than 1 cm. Here the aim is exactly the opposite: to let charging pass through a normal kitchen worktop.
How it works, step by step
- The unit under the worktop. A plastic mounting holder is fixed to the underside of the worktop and also houses the power supply.
- The Qi standard. InvisaCharge is based on Qi, so your phone must support Qi wireless charging.
- Rest it and it charges. You place the phone on the spot above the unit. There is no cable on the surface.
- Power up to 15 W. This is the maximum charging power.

Which surfaces it fits
